Another Trinity Blood costume, another corset.. naturally!
This was a lot of fun to make. There isn't as much beading on this one as there is on my Catherina corset, but there is still a good amount. In the reference picture, I can see some sort of vine-like design going up from the bottom of her corset fading off towards the midline. I scribbled some random designs on a piece of paper to see which I like best and I came up with this simple little thing. Just some wavy, vine branch things, with some golden leaves scattered about. The front has a fake-out lace up with a strand of red hex-cut beads as the lace. I gathered up some of the satin that I used to make the corset and some red tulle to add some more texture and depth to the design (ruffles can be seen in certain reference pictures for this costume), and voila! All finished.
Funny thing.. I've made 2 of my own Trinity Blood costumes so far, and helped briefly with Sara's.. For ALL three costumes I have caused some sort of injury to myself while making them, and bled. For Catherina, I almost cut the tip of my finger off, same thing again with Sara's Asta coat, and I gave myself a juicy blood blister while using an awl on this corset. GET IT? TRINITY BLOOD? ha ha.. snort. Yeah... I'm done.

where did you get the reference pictures for this? the picture in the book is really small...
